McLarty Associates
Southeast Asia

In Japan and Korea, McLarty Associates works with a wide range of multinational companies in industries ranging from telecommunications and transportation to retail and construction. Frequent travel to Korea and Japan, participation in numerous bilateral fora, and extensive personal relationships with government and business leaders allows our Northeast Asia team to respond to and anticipate clients’ needs quickly and directly.

In Japan, we have worked with many of Japan’s leading companies on their international strategies, assisted a telecommunications company in navigating the Japanese regulatory system, and advised a major retailer on large scale ventures throughout the country.

In Korea, we have helped facilitate companies’ entry into the local market, advised an American real estate developer on building a new city in Korea, assisted an internet company in addressing sensitive regulatory issues in the country, assisted a major automobile manufacturer with its global strategy, and helped an electronic financial services provider develop a Korean government relations strategy.
