McLarty Associates
Southeast Asia

In China, McLarty Associates works with multinational companies to help navigate their way through thorny policy crises and cumbersome regulatory processes in ways that are sensitive to China’s unique economic, cultural and political realities yet allow companies to stay true to their corporate cultures and values.

With an office in Beijing and associates in Hong Kong, we offer our clients on-the-ground assistance throughout greater China.

We work with companies that are new to China, as well as those that have been in China since the early days of China’s re-opening to the outside world. Our China capabilities run the gamut from assisting companies enter the market and introduce new products and services to helping companies manage difficult issues that impede their success in the marketplace.

We have worked with companies from sensitive industries to gain their feet in China; have eased the path of technology companies to overcome sensitivities within Chinese agencies; helped an electronic financial services provider develop a Chinese government relations strategy; and helped a leading international retailer better position themselves for success in their China venture.
